Gulf Oil Truck Damaged By Fire in Houston Garage
A Gulf Oil storage tank truck owned by A. Co., pers irg held, was badly damaged by a fire at 10 last night. The truck was stored beside Houston Chevrolet Co. A short circuit in wiring was suspected. Three other trucks in the building were saved. Damage to the Gulf truck was about 150 dollars. No building damage. Firemen extinguished flames quickly after arrival.

Ullmann Attends Farm Meeting At Corpus Christi

A D Warnken of Poth died at his home March 2 1936 at age 64 with 10 days. He helped run a modern oil mill and gin with his sons and was a respected community figure. Funeral services were at his home and St John Lutheran Church, with interment in Poth Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers named.

Funeral Services Held For Miss Cleo Dickey
Miss Cleo Dickey of Jourdon ton died in a San Antonio hospital and funeral services and burial were held at Stockdale. She is survived by a sister Mrs. T. W. Park of Jourdon ton and three brothers Eugene Dickey of Falfurrias Leonard Dickey of Stockdale and Marvin Dickey of Galveston. Miss Dickey lived in Stockdale for years living with her brother L M D. She was cultured and refined and well loved by all who knew her.

Two Freight Cars Jump Track Near POTH Texas
Two cars of the southbound T N C Ry freight train No 353 derailed about two miles south of Poth Texas tearing up a half mile of track. About 125 emergency workers were rushed to the scene and repairs were to be finished this afternoon. Passenger train No 318 diverted to Cuero after returning to San Antonio.
