Wilson County Extension Agent Charles Pfluger Jr announces training and testing for private application licenses on Tuesday August 29 at the Wilson County Showbarn near Floresville. Registration starts 5:00 PM, program at 5:30 PM, test after. preregister by August 28 by calling the Wilson County Extension Office in the Courthouse. Open to participants from any county. Fireworks sale to benefit Wilson County 4-H groups
The Wilson County 4-H Council and the Wilson County 4-H Adult Boosters will operate a fireworks stand at F& W Electric on Hwy 181 N from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. June 30 to July 4. Proceeds fund 4-H programs. Boosters thank Mr Freasier for use of his lot and donation. State Fair entries for 4-H animal projects are due by August 15 at the Extension Office with entry fees.
