The well was bailed Tuesday and is expected to produce after a planned Wednesday bail. A victory feast followed, with a fat steer butchered Monday for the barbecue as autos began arriving by Tuesday afternoon. The site lies about one mile south of the Southern Pacific tracks at Adkins near the Gonzales road, east of San Antonio.
