Alan Miller, a veteran workforce development expert, was appointed by the AWD Board of Directors as interim executive director of Alamo Workforce Development, Inc. AWD oversees services in the 12-county Alamo Area including the Wilson County Texas Workforce Center in Floresville. Miller has over twenty years of senior management experience and has worked at state and local levels in Texas and Illinois. He holds a master’s in public administration from Northern Illinois University.
