Cuero financiers and cotton mill operatives plan a conference at week’s end to decide on a second mill. Belton Yarn Mills head P M Keller will visit Cuero to discuss a $300000 mill on a 50 50 basis with $450000 local capitalization and mill brass funding. Chamber of Commerce proposed a $20000 bonus and a free mill site. Agreement or final disposition expected.
Pleasanton High School honor graduates Miss Lucille Watkins and Homer Hyde received many scholarships from state, denomination, and private colleges, each earning ten to fifteen offers. Salutatorian Homer Hyde gave the keynote on Duty as the class pledged to uphold it. Mrs. J W Ormand of San Antonio visits Pleasanton, while Miss Lora Ormand attends the Alumni Banquet before returning home.
The closing exercises of the Blessed Sacrament School were held last Sunday at 2 PM. A large crowd attended and praised the program, two one act comedies drew laughs, and songs speeches and drills pleased all. The school will reopen September 1 1925, with many local residents noted in attendance and accompanying events described.

Oral notice lists six ages in Wilson county for a court motion to name guardians and motions sought.
