Floresville Marks First Class Public School Year
Floresville closes 1913-14 term in a new $20,000 brick building. Trustees, patrons, teachers and pupils rallied for a harmonious year with strong attendance and discipline. Prof. W B Toone and Prof. Joe A Poston led a loyal faculty, praised by the State Department of Education. Graduation at the opera house featured Miss Cleo Youngblood and Prof Carl Taylor of Texas. ten graduates led by Norman Florence Cone and others embark on life’s journey.

Great Interest Manifested At Co-operative Revival
The revival meeting in the city draws crowds under a large tent with electricity and seating. Rev J B is featured as a revival singer. Morning services start at 10 15 and evening at sharp. A dance followed at the home of Mr and Mrs J J ton with visiting young ladies. Jesse Polley began work on J ton's ranch nearby.
