Flax League 13 year old All Stars opened July 6 in Kenedy losing 16 to 4 to Bee County All Stars, then won two in Bee County to reach the New Braunfels regional tournament. They beat Elgin 14 11 and Austin 13 11 before a 5 4 win over New Braunfels and a final 16 4 loss to Austin in the finals, earning runner up honors and a trophy. Roster lists Red Decas as manager, Larry Smith and Wade Slane as coaches, with players from Kenedy Falls City Kossciuszko Three Rivers and Kings City.
