Floresville ISD Names New High School Principal James Crews
Floresville ISD selects James Crews as high school principal for 1990 91 with board approval at the April 17 meeting. Crews arrives from Lockhart where he taught math and previously worked in industry and at Austin Community College. He emphasizes five R s and open communication, planning to foster parent involvement and student centered learning. Crews and his wife Tanya have three daughters and plan to settle in the area. The San Antonio River Authority board will meet July 18 1990 at 2 00 p m in its board rooms.

Evidence shows shots fired from inside the home. a .22 gun and six shell casings were found. Garcia remains critical. the baby Angel, born via emergency C-section, is stable but premature. Flores previously faced aggravated assault charges from a March stabbing. a court date was set for July 27. The Wilson County Sheriff's Department continues the investigation.
