Memorial Hospital in Floresville was notified on June 24 1972 that the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals granted maximum two year accreditation after a survey April 7 1972 by Marvin P Vanden Bosch MD and Hangold H Cochran Adm The JCAH board is sponsored by four national medical and hospital organizations and sets policy and standards An accreditation survey is voluntary and paid for by hospitals New standards took effect July 1 1971 Mrs Juhn W McInvale operator for Texas Telephone and Telegraph Company retires after 26 years with the firm A luncheon honored her and she received a vase from colleagues She has no firm plans for retirement but will enjoy extra time and is praised for her years of public service.
