Fire destroys Hermann Sons Hall at Path
Fire of undetermined origin Wednesday afternoon completely destroyed the Hermann Sons Lodge hall at Path, with contents a total loss. The Knights of Columbus Lodge used the hall, losing regalia, equipment, chairs, and desks about 600 dollars. overall loss estimated 6000 to 7000 dollars, partly insured. Path volunteers assisted local firefighters as citizens reported the blaze around 4:30 PM.
