Impact fee study plan presented to Floresville council

The Floresville city council heard a plan from Bury and Partners offering three study options to shape an impact fee proposal for new development. The proposal, costing up to 49,000 dollars, would study wastewater needs, draft a water and wastewater master plan, and guide an impact fee program compliant with state rules.

Stockdale ends probe into non metered water tap on Lambeck property

The Stockdale City Council voted three to two to not launch its own investigation after being told no criminal activity was involved in the non metered water tap on Carmen Lambeck's property. Mayor Stahl said the Wilson County Sheriff's Department would issue a formal report, indicating no criminal activity when it arrives.

Floresville council tests agenda item timing rules

Floresville city council debated agenda item deadlines and whether multiple items can share a single resolution. A 72 hour prior deadline was preferred by Mayor Tejada and Councilmember Villarreal, with Jimenez opposing the change. The measure passed 3-1. The council also approved 4A Community Center Corporation bylaws amid talk of awaiting the new city manager’s review.
