Cemetery Association Holds Annual Meeting
The Floresville Cemetery Association met on Friday January 11 1946 at Mrs J F Spruce home. Members present included Mesdames Lee Matlock Sr W M Reese A C Johnson John H McDaniel J C Lane E L Whitsett R C Teas W M Butler J H Spruce E V Johnson Ross McKenzie J C Merchant. Minutes of the last meeting were approved and dues for 1946 were listed from multiple members including Mrs Irene Worsham Mrs Nettie Herrington Mrs Lee Matlock Sr and others with various monthly and annual amounts. Donations from Ida Gaertner Gent Mary Martha Society and a hostesses donation were noted. The group voted to discontinue the 38 donation and reported gift box collections totaling 12200 since last meeting. Election of officers was held with Mrs Peaks as president and Mrs Mitchell as second vice president.

Firemen Training School to Visit Floresville Monday

Army's Silver Caravan to Tour Floresville Saturday 9:30
The Silver Caravan will arrive in Floresville at 9:30 a.m. January 19, 1946, and depart 11:30 a.m. the same day. Lt. C. C.
