Peter Paul Dugi son of Mr and Mrs August Dugi was selected to the AA Football All State Team He was picked as a defensive end on the 1st team He has been team leader in sacks and tackles the 1st two years at Poth High School Dugi is a three year letterman in football and plans to go to college next year Longin Biemer Jr son of Mr and Mrs Longin Biemer Sr was named to the elite squad as a lineman He is a Senior at Path High School and a two year letterman He was also selected to the 31AA District team as a nose guard Biemer along with George Moore Jim Weaver and Brian McKinney of Nixon and Talbert Engelmann of Jourdanton were Honorable Mention to the All State team

FHS District Band Winners Highlight Five Honors
In New Braunfels district band contest five of six FHS members earned honors Kim Randall bassoon Ann Eschenburg trumpet James Epperson trumpet Wendy Mills clarinet and Carol Tokar flute. Tokar and James Epperson and Wendy Mills earned Region Band honors and performed with the all region band in San Antonio at Alamo Heights High School.
