District Court Adjourns After Busy December Session
After a four week term the regular December district court adjourned on Saturday afternoon. The State vs Sesario Martinez for the murder of his wife near Stockdale resulted in a guilty plea and a five year penitentiary sentence. Habeas corpus bail hearings granted for State vs Charlie and Ysidro Orosco with bail set at 20 000 and 3 000 respectively. Jury commissioners appointed by the district judge selected a grand jury and jurors for the May term, led by J H Brown J J Sutton and W T Swift.
