Auto Damaged In New Year's Mishap
Bill Millikin, son of Mr and Mrs C W Millikin Jr, suffered a cut forehead and bruises when the Pontiac he drove went out of control early New Year s Day returning from San Antonio. He dozed at the wheel and edged to miss a tree, skidding down an embankment near a concrete culvert causing major front end damage. He sought aid at a nearby farmhouse and received stitches before returning to study at A M College on January 3.

Volunteers are needed to assist in rehabilitating Bruce Lindley and his parents Mr and Mrs Gordon Lindley who have lived in Glenolden since last summer after Bruce underwent brain surgery in Crozer-Chester Medical Center to correct a birth defect. Rex Reed of Floresville, 23, died at 7 a m Thursday in a seven vehicle wreck at the Bexar Wilson county line on U S 181 five miles south of San Antonio. Fernando Garza, 27, of Poth, is in serious condition with a head injury at Santa Rosa Hospital. Funeral services were held December 31 at First Baptist Church in Floresville.
