Davis-Scott YMCA raffle supports after school program
During December raffle tickets supported the Davis-Scott YMCA after school program in Path and Floresville, running since October 3 and extending through 1995. Proceeds fund scholarships and community information events. Winning ticket holder Father Sam Heitkamp will receive a TV and VCR, picked up January 2 at Wal-Mart, with Irma Tejada assisting.

Floresville ISD Single Member District Plan Voters Study
Floresville Independent School District officials will present a plan to switch to seven single member districts for trustee elections. A public hearing is set for January 9, 1995 at 7:00 p.m. to hear the committee recommendation and resident comments. ESL classes resume January 9 in Floresville and January 10 in Path.

Floresville middle school invites all parents to the cafeteria on Thursday January 5, 1995 from 3 30 to 6 00 p m for the first Report Card Roundup. Parents will receive student report cards and discuss progress with teachers while enjoying refreshments and music.
