Gramm Announces 1.54 Million Head Start Grant
Senator Phil Gramm announced a 1.54 million Head Start grant for the Economic Opportunities Development Corp of Atascosa Karnes and Wilson Counties through November 2000. Gramm said tax dollars returned to Texas citizens fund programs like Head Start to aid early education and development for preschool children.
