Pair Stopped After Wild Ride Here

Former Supt and Wife Hurt in Auto Crash
Mr and Mrs H. W. Seale were in a 1984 Chevrolet when they collided with a 1965 Chevrolet driven by Richard Goss a Smiley school teacher, near US 87 and Main Street Stockdale. The Seales were taken to Memorial Hospital Floresville with Mrs Seale confined for a back injury. Goss and two students suffered minor bruises. Patrolman Buford Lyon and Deputy Roy Witten investigated.

Floresville Soldier Receives Purple Heart for Vietnam Wounds
E/4 Mike R. Munoz, son of Mr and Mrs Louis Munoz of Floresville, earned the Purple Heart for wounds in action on June 7 1965 in the Republic of Vietnam. The certificate and medal were sent to his Floresville parents this past week, signed by Brigadier General John Norton and the Secretary of the Navy. Munoz, back on active duty with the Paratroopers, arrived in Vietnam in March 1965 after enlisting September 22, 1964 and basic training at Fort Polk Louisiana.

Car Heavily Damaged In Mishap Near Floresville
A 1983 Chevrolet driven by Barbara Ann Bartus and her sister Janet Bartus was extensively damaged Monday at about 7 15 P M when it left the old Corpus Christi Highway seven miles north of Floresville and overturned in a deep ditch.
