George Marshall Henson and Miss Mary Agnes Kerr were quietly married at the Kerr home, 304 West Laurel Street, San Antonio, on Wednesday night December 14 at eight o'clock. Rev. D. B. South officiated. The bride, well known locally, is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Kerr and is held in high esteem for her social and family ties.
A fragment notes the 1400 square bales and 400 square bales figures, with total ginning tallies across three local gins. The final count records exactly 4460 square bales and one round bale in the season’s output.
The account describes a lively wedding reception with guests Verna Nada Mattie Joy Adelle Zeeda Toad and others. Attendants used items donated by Franklin Lee Co and BH Johnig Co to decorate and entertain. Guests enjoyed butter sandwiches pickles fruit tea and other treats into the late hours.

The Cuero District presiding elder Rev. A. S. Scarborough will lead the quarterly conference at the Methodist church next Sunday night following the regular preaching service. The evening preaching hour will proceed, and all are invited to attend.
An auction sale will be held in the pens back of the John Griffith Co in Floresville next Saturday December 24 at 2 o'clock. Twenty head of unbroke three and four year old mules will be sold to the highest bidder with no back buying. H J Price acts as auctioneer. Also notices of a Christmas Tree and Dance at Herman Sons Hall in Poth on Monday night December 26 with presents for the young folks and Teltschik's orchestra.
R B Myers advertises a 100 acre farm with all implements at the Brinkeeter place. Price and terms are stated as reasonable and trade may be considered. Dated December 16. 2te
