Operation Christmas Greeting Reaches Sixteenth Year
The annual fund raiser for the Wilson County Volunteer Ambulance Association marks its 16th year today. Path and Floresville residents donate money instead of sending Christmas cards, with over $57,516 raised in 16 years. Coupons and checks labeled donation should be left at the Bank of South Texas in Floresville or Poth branch.

On December 1 1994 Kimberly Simmons rolled a 1979 Chevrolet on FM 541. air life evacuated her to a San Antonio hospital as charges were filed for no license and no liability insurance. The same period Belinda Tamez collided with Eduardo Serrano on Old Corpus Christi Road. both drivers uninjured, Tamez and a passenger taken to University Hospital. Additional incidents December 2 1994 include Clifton Warren Vijay Raj crash. Warren charged for failure to yield. Candy Evans charged for failure to control speed. Richard Gonzales cited for failure to control speed. December 3 1994 Louis Smasal intoxication DWI after a guard rail collision. Peter Duncan improper left turn. Adam Ayala charged with DWI and unlawful weapon carry. all incidents occurred in Wilson County with DPS investigations.
