Floresville School Band presents their 14th annual Christmas concert at the high school gym tonight at 8 o clock directed by Fritz Teltschik. The 50 piece ensemble aims for a record turnout of 600 to 700 with a freewill offering at the door to support new instruments and school music programs. Floresville to Host Annual Community Christmas Tree Program
Floresville Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the Community Christmas Tree event at 6 PM near the Wilson County Courthouse. Old St Nick will appear from the balcony, Santa will descend a fire ladder, and fruit bags will be distributed to children as volunteers from the Floresville Volunteer Fire Department assist. The street will be closed from Ballard Drug Store to Sheehy Chevrolet for the ceremony and crowd safety.

Donaho Sells Bulls to Mexico from Floresville Dairy
Widely known Floresville dairyman GBiN Densho sold six registered Holstein calf bulls to two Mexican ranchers this week. Ages ranged from 3 to 14 months. The buyers also purchased four bulls from Donaho in March. One buyer is a Texas A and M graduate. he and partners visited multiple Texas herds and found Donaho’s herd superior.
