Power Outages In Floresville For Eight Sundays
Floresville Electric Light and Power System warns customers that beginning Sunday December 16 and continuing for eight consecutive Sundays, power will be off from 1 to 5 PM across nearly the entire county except Calaveras north into San Antonio. Four hours of outage each Sunday to allow high voltage transmission line work at Floresville substation.

Santa Claus Parade Draws Record Crowd in Poth
A record crowd estimated at 4000 plus gathered in Poth Wednesday at 10 am for a Santa Claus and reindeer parade. The Path School Band led by Jimmy Luigi, Santa in a red suit with reindeer Dancer Prancer Dander and Blitzen rode a sleigh.
