DPS notes two vehicle crashes near Floresville on December 4 and 7 1991. Reba Ann Cooper of La Vernia rolled her 1984 Mercury on FM 539 after a sharp turn and struck an embankment. Public Meeting On Tailings Cleanup In Falls City Texas
The DOE and Texas Health will hold a public meeting in Falls City at 7 p.m. December 12 1991 at the Falls City Community Hall to update residents on the UMTRA Site cleanup status and schedule. The inactive Susquehanna Western site covers two parcels totaling about 239 hectares with 4.4 million cubic meters of tailings to be cleaned.
