Floresville Band Captures Top Honors at Lockhart Meet
Floresville High School band earned five first places and six seconds in the Area 6 Band Marching and Twirling Contest at Lockhart on December 5, competing against 26 bands and about 1500 musicians. Floresville won Marching First Division with 97.6 points, Cuero led with 99.1. In twirling, Floresville entries highlighted by trio members performed "Symbol of Honor March" and "Queen City."
