Death Claims Beloved Pioneer Woman Monday
Mrs. Louisa Wardell Connally, aged 74 years and 25 days, longtime Wilson County pioneer, died at Union Valley on Monday December 6 1937 at 830 pm. She was mother to County Clerk J B Ally and belonged to Pycetion Methodist Church. Grandsons Woodlee Stanford John Lis N M Golfrey served as bearers. Born in Atlanta Georgia she moved to Wilson County in 1871 with her family and helped settle the area.

District Court Adjourns After Quiet Fall Term
The fall term of the district court here ends this Saturday after four weeks with a light docket and few jury trials. Judge S B Carr assisted at Sinton on Monday, disposing of four cases. Jury commissioners met to draw spring term lists. Divorces and damages suits were decided, including a $7500 verdict for William Ford tran vs Barney Davis.
