Santa will give away 75 dollars in five cash prizes at 5 O clock on Floresville town square. Free candy and tickets to all present begin at 2 pm with ticket drawing at 5 pm sharp. Tragic Floresville Fire Claims One Boy Life
A fast spreading early Wednesday fire in Floresville destroyed a two story home and killed Curtis Patterson 13, seriously burned eight year old Raymond Patterson and wounded Mrs. Patterson. Dr. W R Patterson, two daughters Lynda and Judy, escaped unharmed as neighbors aided evacuations. Raymond remained hospitalized at Brooke Army Medical Center. The dwelling and contents burned completely with origin unclear though heater is suspected. Services for Curtis were held at First Lutheran Church with many local mourners attending. The community mourns this tragedy and offers support to the grieving family.

Important Highway Program To Be Launched Wilson County 1956
