Flovenville Rural Telephone Expands Service Substantially

The Flovenville Rural Telephone Company completed an expansion costing about $15,000 to serve roughly 1,000 subscribers across Plovenville Path review Black Hill and adjacent rural areas. The upgrade doubles cable capacity and poles to improve local calls from Hivek Hill to Sunnyside and Calaveras to Poth, offering broad toll-free service and reliable postal-area coverage. The firm, organized in 1900 by R. A. Howek and others, remains locally owned and operated despite hardships.

Girl Burned To Death In Floresville Fire

Floresville tragedy details a lethal fire Tuesday afternoon that killed fifteen year old Ansuela Martines, daughter of Pablo Martines, at the Martinez home near Palacios.
