Tonight a big crowd expected at Reigns Supreme High School event as the Athletic Association Carnival features minstrel acts from Sir Negro, Booths and Stants Knudsen. Prices suit every pocketbook and families urged to attend.
H C Wells advises farmers on crop prospects for next year noting strong demand and favorable prices for black eyed peas and pintos. He cautions against large guaranteed-price contracts and suggests timing beans for mid March planting to capture early-season value, with onions and other vegetables less rosy for market.
Mrs. Nettie Houston Bringhurst killed in a car crash near Cafally At Schnaober Way. Brother remains at bedside as family sources report the tragedy and injury details.
Mrs Bringhurst dies from injuries after San Antonio auto crash en route to Houston. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at the Alamo with body lying in state from 8 to 10 am and burial to follow. Surviving are daughter Nettie Bush and niece Maude Hacthen, with comments on her Houston lineage and artifacts.
Connally, a Floresville resident long tied to Greyhound, reenters the San Antonio Corpus Christi routing. His son Stanford will operate the new daily service with departures from San Antonio at 7 00 p m and from Corpus Christi at 10 30 a m.

The regular Boy Scout troop meeting Saturday night organized a new patrol. Brad Oxford was chosen leader as the troop gains an additional patrol and strengthens its work with enthusiastic, engaged members.
The Methodist and Presbyterian churches invite all townsfolk to a Christmas pageant titled The above mentioned story of the Christ Child. The event will be directed by Miss Mary Frances Baldwin and church pastors Rev. A. A. Carter and Rev. C. W. Solomon. The program, featuring pageantry and song, is set for Sunday December 18 at 7 15 p m at El Paso.
The Floresville Parent-Teacher Association hosted a colorful Tuesday evening banquet at the high school for the 1932 football squad, Coach J. Irwin and Assistant Coach Stanley Coughran present. A lavish menu and autumn decor accompanied a lively program with toasts to the PTA, Athletic Association, the coach, captains, and the pep squad, plus performances by students and a pantomime.
