Wilson County 4 H Food Show honors seven youths
Margaret Shelton notes seven 4 H contestants earned blue ribbons at the Wilson County Food Show on November 19 1977 out of twenty one entrants in senior and junior divisions with first and second place winners advancing to the District 4 H Food Show on February 18. Senior winners include Maggie May Wanda Cordes and Karen Koether while juniors include Priscilla Rutledge Donna Cordes Tammy Janek and Jeffery Rutledge. Second place seniors feature Jeanette Popham Kimberly Herschbach Leanne Janek and Melissa Janek with prizes sponsored by Morrison Milling Company and Floresville and other local sponsors.
