Inspectors from the San Big office and Sheriff Dor im with deputies investigated a Vernia postoffice burglary on Saturday. No money orders or stamps were taken. Additional break ins damaged Heinemeyer drug store, a doctor's office, and a liquor store. robbery may target narcotics though no items were reported stolen from the drug store or clinic. Several bottles of whiskey were taken from the liquor store.
