Beavers Rally In Temple Title Clash Preview

In a close first half the Beavers led early and added a 17 yard TD after a fumbled punt. Zerda returned a kickoff 18 yards for a score. Beavers defense shut down the Bulldogs to 43 yards rushing as Temple hosts Troy for the Regional Title Friday December 8 at 8 PM.

Parsies Projects Underway In Farmer District

Paries projects advance in Wilson County area as cooperative groups sign with the Soil Conservation Service. Landowners N R Slosson Leroy Kirchoff Oaks Conservation Fairview and Oscar Moser join, with Tecal SCS technicians aiding farm conservation plans for terraces ponds and water supply. Old Santa Arrives in Floresville for Three Saturdays

Floresville hosts a Santa Visit program sponsored by the Lions Club and local merchants. Santa will stop at the former Ballard Drug Store Building on courthouse square from 2:00 to 4:00 PM each Saturday December 4, 11, and 18. Farm Bureau and Blue Cross Plan Health Coverage Drive

A December January meeting at the Agriculture Building Seguin brought Wilson County Farm Bureau leaders and Blue Cross Blue Shield staff to map increased hospitalization and surgical coverage for Farm Bureau families. Texas Farm Bureau intends a statewide enrollment drive for its members with the new Catastrophic Illness Endorsement, including cancer, not previously available to Farm Bureau groups.
