Operation Christmas Greeting Begins Eleventh Year
Operation Christmas Greeting marks its 11th year to benefit the Wilson County Volunteer Ambulance Association known as EMS. Since 1978 the drive has raised over 34 thousand dollars, with 9 of 10 years supporting EMS, led by Beta Sigma Phi chapters and local banks in Floresville.

Floresville Independent School District and its attorney Calamee Linebarger Graham announce a hard line against delinquent taxpayers. They expect about 150 lawsuits this year and may seize tax warrants, foreclose liens, and sell property at public auction to recover unpaid taxes. Tax payments should go to the Wilson County Tax Office.
