Gigantic Rally Aims to Boost Memorial Hospital Fund
A crowded countywide rally is planned for Floresville to close the Memorial Hospital Fund Drive. About 3,000 attendees are expected at the courthouse yard and town square tomorrow night. Lions Club American Legion and Ausiliars Chamber of Commerce LULAC Floresville Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary Home Demonstration Clubs plus Wilson County Farm Bureau sponsor the event. Food booths open at 6 00 p m with sandwiches hot dogs cakes pies drinks coffee and a Mexican food booth. A fire department auxiliary bed spread quilt and other items will be auctioned via a booth for tickets.
