Methodist Men In Monthly Meeting Ham Supper Report
Floresville Methodist Men met in the church recreation room with 19 members present. A ham supper was served by Zane Lawhon Morris Johnson and Gene Koch. President Carroll Buchhorn led the meeting. Edward Reed spoke on the Wilson County CROP program and Pastor Riley outlined church programs. The group voted to help coordinate a large attendance from the church for the opening of the remodeled Travis Park Church in San Antonio on Sunday September 6 at 7:30.

Buying was lively from neighbors and distant areas as cattle prices rose 50 cents to $1 in all classes. Butcher hogs fell, feeders declined, while sheep and horses held steady. owner W. J.
