Elmore, president of Uniter Bible College, announces a night event beginning Tuesday September first. The address focuses on rights themes and features the Zaian Chap. audiences.
The Floresville Methodist church held a special service largely attended last Sunday night. Lieut. Martin L. Zook, son of Rev. and Mrs. S. H. Zook, led the service and spoke about the American army in France, praising its wonderful achievements.
Lieut. Chas. R. Loney reports two more recruits signed in the past week: Henry Hesskew of near Floresville and Spencer R. Davis, tied to P. A. Sammons at Calaveras but home in West Virginia. Floresville Public School moves to a Pay School Sept 15 to Nov 15 due to deficits, with monthly rates and a plan to cover shortfall.
A Wednesday evening trip in Mr Klaseks truck carried nine girls seven boys and chaperone Miss Ida Mae Murray to Sutherland Springs. After swimming and a stolen lunch and a Victrloa dancing followed the party returned home around two o clock Thursday.
