Trustees Hear Calls for Higher School Apportionment
A trustees meeting on August 21 in the courthouse discussed education issues led by County Superintendent J E Swift and State official Wm Eilers. They urged raising state school funds from 11.50 to 15.00 to extend terms and improve schools, and petitioned Senator Bailey and Representative Gates for legislative action.
