Car-Truck Crash Kills Kosciusko Couple At Path
A Kosciusko farmer and his wife died from injuries after a car and a gasoline trailer truck collided at Farm Road 541 and U.S. Highway 181 in Path. Frank Gorzell died at the scene. Mrs. Gorzell died later at Memorial Hospital Floresville. The truck driver, Clifford E. Tschoepe, was uninjured. Funeral arrangements and pallbearers reflect a long local involvement with St. Ann's Parish.

Five Vehicle Collision Kills Martin Griego Jr.
Martin Marin Griego Jr., a 1964 Floresville High School graduate and sophomore at San Antonio College, was killed instantly in a five vehicle wreck on a Friday morning in San Antonio. The crash involved a trailer truck and three parked vehicles. the trailer truck overturned, pinning Griego beneath. Driver James F. Dixon, 23, of 1743 Amanda, received minor injuries. Griego, 20, was working for C.K. Morris Co, born in Floresville August 25, 1944, and affiliated with Sacred Heart Church. Funeral rites were held at the Vinyard Funeral Home and Sacred Heart Church. Survived by his parents, three sisters, six brothers, and several Floresville and San Antonio relatives.
