Young Baptist minister Wile prepares to devote life to mission work in China. Reared in this community, Culpepper and W H depart soon for overseas service, with plans for lengthy commitment and outreach.
The Engiaking religious service at the Baptist Church recollected Rev Culpepper and his wife as they depart for China. The program featured a sermon from the heart and a tribute from both Baptist and Methodist congregations, with praise for his Christian devotion and plans to continue missionary work abroad.

The parade includes two brass bands fifty autos and about 200 boosters from eight towns. Banners will promote September fairs and the East Texas Cotton Palace October 4 5 6.
