Lutheran Festival at St. John's Poth a big success

Austin? Tex August 18 The Texas Relief Commission laid down strict rules to conserve funds by eliminating unworthy recipients from relief rolls. Tenant farmers actually growing or harvesting a crop were ordered stricken. Landlords would bear subsistence for tenants. District administrators must ensure applicants exhausted private resources before admission. Detailed review of each applicant's resources including aid from relatives and charities was ordered to determine eligibility.
