Floresville City Council heard from K H Foote district manager that operating costs have risen with inflation and current gas rates are too low to yield a fair return. United Gas seeks a $7 403 annual increase, about 0.02 cents per day for the average residential customer, noting service since 1929 and a 31 percent rise in cost per customer over eleven years.

Suspect Jailed On Marijuana Charge In Floresville Raid

Wilson County Commissioners name surveyor and extend health program
At the regular August meeting the Wilson County Commissioners named Victor Seguin as County Surveyor and voted to extend the County Health Program for another year.
