Kasper Dworaczyk, 51, a longtime Kosciusko farmer, died early Tuesday when his car went into a ditch and overturned. He suffered a broken neck and shoulder, dying almost instantly. Funeral services were planned for Tuesday afternoon. Survived by widow and several relatives.

Tackitt Child Injured After Auto Crash Near Calaveras
Six year old Bobbie Tackitt son of Mr and Mrs Roland Tackitt of Calaveras was struck by a car driven by a man named Munoz near his home last Sunday afternoon. He suffered a severe head gash and deep bruises but no broken bones and was treated locally before returning home. Wilson county known for the famous Dale watermelon and other varieties shipped about 1000 carloads of melons this season. Stockdale led rail shipments with 449 cars, plus similar truck totals. Floresville followed with 88 rail cars and many more by truck. Out-of-state trucks from New York to Denver carried Wilson county melons to markets nationwide. The crop yielded good quality and profits despite a softer late-season market.
