Festive Peanut Court Visit Dominates Wilson County Meeting
Wilson County Commissioners welcomed Floresville Peanut Festival Court of Autumn Beauty at a busy session. The court approved a proclamation praising the festival and heard a beautification briefing by James Jay of the Wilson County Beautification Association. Jay outlined plans for a clean up campaign, landscaping, community involvement, and potential state awards, urging student involvement and possible prize money to spur cooperation.
