Adolph Guevara chosen as Prince in the Peanut Festival Court of Centennial Celebration. He is a Floresville High School senior, NHS member, Drum Major of the Mighty Tiger Band, and recipient of US Achievement Academy awards. Charles Pfluger Jr of Floresville, a 14 year Texas Extension Service veteran and Wilson County Extension Agent, will receive the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents for outstanding contributions to agriculture. He led Karnes County Junior Livestock Show and Sale, expanded the Wilson County Showbarn, and educated thousands on Branched Broomrape. He is Texas A&M trained in Animal Science and has held leadership roles in TCAA and 4-H programs.
