Wilson County 4-H Rifle Teams win at Beeville invitational
On a windy Floresville day the Wilson County 4-H Rifle Teams, Juniors and Sub Juniors, captured first place at the Beeville Invitational. Junior team members Chuck Jenschke David Wadlawczyk Damon Shodrock and Aldon Lussy led with a 628 team score and Jenschke won high individual with 236. Sub Junior team of Bobby Mikesh Rex Eiserer Russell Gossett and Jason Little posted 849 out of 900 to take top team honors with Rex earning 287 and Bobby 286 for second place. Russell finished fourth with 276. Coach Michael Eiserer praises the season and thanks shooters and helpers.

Floresville High Band Wins Contest at Madison High
Floresville High School band earned Division I in Concert and Division II in Sight Reading at the Madison High School event in San Antonio on April 8. Director Donald Braun praised the band, noting a strong performance and high expectations for next year.
