Rainy Storm Drenches Floresville Area with Damage and Relief
Severe thunderstorms passed over Floresville bringing high winds hail and rotating clouds. Downtown businesses reported minor damage to lights and landscaping while water entered a new building on C Street. Some roads flooded but no major injuries or closures were noted. Rain totals ranged from 1.8 to 4.4 inches across Floresville and nearby communities aiding drought relief for farmers and ranchers.
