Candidates announced for The Court of Texas Myths and Legends

Floresville Peanut Festival Association hosted a meeting at the Wilson County Justice Center to introduce eight candidates for the Court of Texas Myths and Legends. The event included a BBQ Chicken Dinner planning for April 25 at Sacred Heart Church Parish Hall and a social with directors.

Early voting begins at Wilson County Courthouse Elections Room

At noon on April 6 the San Antonio River near Highway 97 west of Floresville overflowed its banks after heavy rainfall. Wilson County reports over 3 inches of rain through the weekend with more forecast through Wednesday.
