Tiny Tot Tea Delight at Memorial Hospital 1966
The Candystripers of Memorial Hospital hosted the Tiny Tot Tea on Sunday April 3 1966 from 2 to 4 pm. Sixty children attended the annual event featuring games pinatas a fishing pond an Easter egg hunt and Bozo the Clown. Prizes went to 1961 born first girl and boy twins heaviest and lightest child and more plus refreshments of cookies and punch. The afternoon was lively and enjoyed by attendees.

In Wilson County on April 2 1966 a school board election yielded a countywide total of 1364 votes. Hudell Wright and Roy Sanchez led the field for two trustee seats with J H Bill Sheehy and Leon Gordon also listed along with Gene V Haverlah. Floresville's First Anglo Child Mrs Seale Rites Held
Funeral services for Mrs S D Seale age 96 Floresville’s first Anglo child were held at Floresville Methodist Church on Wednesday at 2 30 p m with four pastors officiating and burial in Floresville Cemetery. She came to Floresville as an infant from Bell County and leaves a son William G Seale of Corpus Christi seven grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A forthcoming obituary is planned for next week.
