Clay Pearson, 16, son of Gus Pearson of Jefferson township and pupil at Delphi High School, was injured Saturday morning while hooting with Harry Vandervolgen. A broken board on a fence caused a gun to discharge, amputating his left hand at the wrist. He was taken home and rested easier after lunch.
