Doctor Honan Returns From Berlin Visit

Howl Against Bad Road Work Sparks Resignation in Township

Barn Burns on Coble Farm West of Rockfield
A large barn on Walter Coble’s Stauffer farm near Rockfield was destroyed by fire Monday at about 1 30 pm. Sparks from a threshing engine started the blaze which consumed the hay loft. Groninger’s separator was saved. Insurance runs about 200 on the barn and 200 on contents, while Coble’s losses approach 1000. Ed Merrill bought the residence and barn to set up a large buggy and horse trade akin to the Ruselaville Eikenberry establishment.
