Jerome’s new triple combination motorized fire apparatus, ordered ten months ago, has arrived and been tested. Demo from Elmira, New York instructed local firemen as Chief Hutchinson and others observed. Tests at Jerome Water Works showed two simultaneous streams with 105 psi, 303 and 325 gallons per minute, exceeding contract by 58 gallons. City council accepted the machine after a successful run marking a milestone for Jerome’s fire protection progress.
